Hey there, I'm Erin Butcher, a senior at BASIS Flagstaff. This blog will be used to document my Senior Research Project (SRP) over the next few months. For details about the specifics of my project, check the Statement of Purpose at the bottom of the blog :) My advisers are Ms. Vaughan (in-school), Ms. Pyeatt (in-school), and Mr. Larry Soderblom (out-of-school)(former geophysicist with the United States Geological Survey, now retired). I will be conducting all or at least the majority of my experiments in the residency of Mr. Soderblom (he has a plethora of marine tanks he has allowed me to use).
